there are so many guides out there on how to make a language
it is very easy to make a language
it is very easy hard to make a language that is easy to debug
getting helpful error MESSAGES out of a language is really hard
it's even harder if you use a parser GENERATOR or language LIBRARY or some sort of ABSTRACTION like that
most language guides start with an abstract syntax tree
we started with error MESSAGES!
